TSC
BRF’s Test Item Control Office (TICO) manages the safe storage of test items, assigns unique codes, maintains a log and mass balance, and holds items in controlled storage until usage, expiration, or disposal. The TICO has separate areas for handling pharmaceuticals, crop protection products, and chemicals to prevent contamination. Our TICO also sends a receipt note to sponsors within 48 hours of safe receipt and provides guidance on GLP guidelines. Our TICO facilities have separate zones for pharma and non-pharma products, with all items stored under suitable conditions based on their stability. The test items are handed over to the study director with guidance on stability to air and light.

We use the techniques that do not use living animals and encompass In vitro & In silico (computer based programs) approaches and any other methodologies that eliminate the use of the living animal, e.g., structure–activity relationships.
