Bioscience Research Foundation’s Pathology Department is a GLP certified laboratory that offers a comprehensive range of histology services for pre-clinical research studies. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including automated microtomes and automatic stainers, our fully automated tissue processing lab delivers high-quality slides for routine and special staining, immunohistochemistry, and digital pathology.
Our team of certified pathologists and highly qualified scientists has extensive experience in the field of pathology and adheres to international standards for slide preparation. Our slides are stored long-term in secure archives for up to 10 years, ensuring their verifiability for future reference.

- Microscopic examination and analysis of tissues for morphological changes
- Evaluation of cellular abnormalities, inflammation, and tissue architecture

- Evaluation of protein expression, cellular markers, and molecular targets

- Molecular Pathology:
- DNA and RNA analysis for genetic alterations, mutations, or gene expression profiling
- Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assays for specific gene detection or quantification
- Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) to identify chromosomal abnormalities
- Next-generation sequencing (NGS) for comprehensive genetic analysis
- Hematology: Complete blood counts (CBC), blood smears, coagulation
- Clinical chemistry: Biochemical analysis of blood and body fluids
- Serology: Antibody detection for infectious diseases
- Urinalysis: Analysis of urine for diagnostic purposes
- Additional staining techniques to highlight specific cellular components or substances
- Examples include Periodic Acid-Schiff (PAS) for glycogen detection, Masson’s trichrome for connective tissue evaluation, etc.
